About Margot Bernal

I earned my master's degree in Business Management at the W.P. Carey School of Business in 2015. Prior to earning my master's, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State (one of the best programs in the country). During my time at the Walter Cronkite School, I gained practical experience in communication techniques, reporting skills, and research along with other critical disciplines. During my college experience, I served in organizations such as Kappa Delta Chi sorority Inc, The Spanish and Culture club, the National Hispanic Leadership Institute, The National Association of Hispanic Journalists, student orientation leader, and the American Red Cross. I enjoyed a prosperous career with Macy’s Inc. where I have managed a team of up to 70 associates. My humanitarian efforts and community involvement experience, along with my education have allowed me to lead with a purpose. Currently I work at Carvana as a team leader in where I manage team of 20-25 underwriting advocates, coach, develop and drive performance based on principles and quality assurance.
