About Margot Dent

As a Guest and Employee Experience Specialist at Cabot, I helped create memorable and engaging experiences for the guests and staff at our luxury golf resorts. I worked to create and implement ESG programs at our properties to better serve the environment and communities that surround our properties and contribute to the magical experience of Cabot. I worked as part of our hospitality team, facilitating brand partnerships and creating OS & E spreadsheets in which I sourced interiors for various properties and effectively organized them into succinct reports. I applied my communication and marketing skills to design and implement graphics, and manage social media accounts for Cabot properties. As Head of Initiatives for MUSE Magazine at Queen's, I led a team of creative and passionate students to produce original and inspiring content for the online platform of the student-run publication. I also wrote articles on various topics, such as politics, culture, and lifestyle, and participated in the editorial and design processes. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Politics at Queen's University, where I have developed a keen interest and knowledge in the historical and contemporary issues that shape our world. I am passionate about using my skills and education to make a positive difference in the society and the environment, and to share my insights and perspectives with diverse audiences.
