About Margot Gook

My experience in health includes work as a Senior Consultant Psychologist and specialising in Trauma counselling for 20 years. I am passionate about coaching people in the workforce to enable staff and managers to develop their skills, communicate well, foster resilience and improve performance. I am interested in culture change, building resilience and communication in teams and creating a psychologically safe environment for staff and managers. Working as a manager I realised the important place managers play in promoting healthy cultures, especially around dealing with conflict and having difficult conversations. In addition to being a Counselling Psychologist with a strong interest in Organisational Psychology, I am trained in coaching, conflict resolution coaching and have a Cert IV in Workplace Training My perfect job would be in this field, either as a manager, counsellor,a management consultant or coach.
