About Margot Hoffman

I am an LMSW working as a Substance Use Counselor at Horizon Village, a residential substance use rehabilitation center. As a full-time clinician, I hold space for individual sessions and facilitate therapeutic groups focusing on DBT, CBT, Mindful Self-Compassion, Family Dynamics, and Grief & Loss. I strive to maintain Social Work values throughout my practice, incorporating Evidence-Based work rooted in Trauma-Informed, Human Rights perspectives. I am passionate about nature as a way of healing and work to introduce themes of ecotherapy as well as realistic self-care into my Clinical Social Work practice. I believe a diverse community can foster individual and community growth, and I strive to promote social justice as well as cultural humility and competence throughout my work.
