About Margot Logman

I am an enabler of positive societal change at a project, program and strategic level. I initiate and embrace public-private collaborations that make a difference and where all parties win. I hold a unique combination of expertise in both nutrition and sustainable development. I am a registered Wageningen University nutrition scientist, gaining professional experience in several leading food companies including Nestle, Unilever and FrieslandCampina. Moving from science to marketing and communication, I focused on building and implementing corporate social responsibility policies as well as creating business opportunities based on the latest insights. With a positive mind-set, I bridged multi-stakeholder fields from different organizations in a target oriented way. By emphasizing cooperation between industry, government and non-governmental organizations I accelerated sustainable palm oil development at a European level. Both personally and professionally I like to create meaningful impact through sustainability and public health improvement strategies where all parties can win. Through public private cooperation between businesses, governments and non-governmental organizations I facilitate and implement time bound strategies, appealing communication campaigns and interventions based on expert knowledge. Through trusted relationships, I build and activate meaningful cooperation with internal and external stakeholders. I create and support a positive culture within the teams and encourage best practice sharing. With a talent to ask the right questions, I manage to bridge a wide range in expertise and organizations, such as marketing, regulatory affairs and R&D, as well as governments, NGOs and businesses. I am comfortable and effective in working with both high level executives and government officials as well as with experts and representatives of companies, academia, non-governmental organizations and related food industry alliances.
