About Mari Gray

I am a marketing and business development enthusiast passionate about understanding human behavior to connect and engage with diverse audiences. Growing up in Japan, Cambodia, and the U.S, I’ve developed a unique perspective and adaptability that informs my approach to strategic communication. My experience spans from interning with NGOs in Cambodia and Costa Rica to developing audience-centered marketing strategies for the UNM School of Law. Currently, at the UNM Foundation, I am deepening my understanding of the gifting process and the critical interplay between organizational departments that drive successful fundraising. At Sandia National Laboratories, I contribute to crafting communication strategies for groundbreaking scientific research, focusing on internal and external audiences to support and expand business opportunities. I aim to leverage my skills and passion to help organizations build meaningful relationships with their audiences.
