In January 2014 I assumed responsibility for implementation of the National Express Giving Foundation. I formerly held the position of Director where I was accountable for implementation of the Foundation’s mission and policies. In my role, I provided recommendations and monitored standards and principles for the conducting of Foundation business as well as recommendations to the Foundation Board on operating policy. My responsibilities included creation and implementation of all organizational activities including program administration, materials, grant review and approval processes, and online content. I administered all activities relating to the organization's accounting and finance as well as compliance for all federal, state, and local filings and laws. In 2011 through 2014 I served as Executive Assistant to the President & CEO of North American operations for National Express L.L.C.(NELLC), a student services and transit transportation company. NELLC operates in thirty four states and several Canadian provinces. In my position I was responsible for coordinating large event logistics and team meetings, managing reception and mail operations, and preparing official document and correspondence for the CEO. I maintained confidential files, negotiated vendor contracts as well as served as liaison between the CEO and several international contacts and companies.
