About Mari Niemi

At the moment I am working with bacic social assistace and general housing allowance at The Sosial Insurance Institution of Finland (Kela). I have had also a role in developing cooperation with Kela and Kymsote. I have been enough brave to be able try different things in different ways. I develop my skils contiunally and I want to learn more and more. My thesis focused on the use of service desing in developing and improving cooperation between organizations. The purpose of the study was find the answer to: how service desing can help develop cooperation between Kela and Kymsote regarding income support. I think open conversation between partners is the basis for successful cooperation, which allows deeping and developing cooperation.In the absence of trust it is difficult to cooperate. Understanding one another's work is essantial to gain trust. Staff communication is important whatever you do for living.
