Educator | Lifelong Learner | Advocate for Empowered Learning With a background spanning secondary and post-secondary education, I’ve spent my career helping students explore languages and social sciences in meaningful, accessible, and engaging ways. Whether in the classroom, online or hybrid, I’ve had the privilege of guiding learners through their educational journeys, and watching them thrive is—without a doubt—the most rewarding part of what I do.(I've also been kindly honoured with awards as an individual and as part of an incredible team! Feel free to read about them at the bottom of this page ) Beyond teaching, I’ve developed interactive educational tools and multimedia content for a range of learning management systems, combining pedagogy with technology to enhance student engagement and success. My mission as a passionate educator is simple: Make learning enjoyable. Build student confidence. Empower every learner to believe in their potential. I believe deeply in the power of encouragement. Sometimes, all a student needs is someone in their corner to remind them of their strengths when things get tough! Outside of work, I’m still a student at heart. I’m always diving into new research around educational technology, literacy-based learning, and mental health in education. I’m also a pop culture buff, avid reader, film lover, and passionate animal rights advocate (with dreams of rescuing more animals in the future!)
