About Maria Cinque

Maria Cinque is Associate Professor of Teaching methodologies and Special Pedagogy at the Department of Human Studies of LUMSA University in Rome. She is the Coordinator of the Science of education degree course and the Director of the Programme for In-service Teachers working with students with Special Education Needs. She also teaches Communication and Teaching skills to Science Nutrition students at Campus Bio-Medico University in Rome and holds seminars in different Italian Universities (Palermo, Pisa, Pordenone, Roma, Udine). Her main research interests focus on coaching and creativity (Agire creativo, 2010), on technologies for teaching and learning (Eteaching, 2011), on talent development and management (In merito al talento, 2013), on soft skills (Soft skills in action, 2012, 2014; Soft skills per il governo dell'agire, 2014). She has been involved in the following projects at international and national level: • 2014-17 – European Project: Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership. eLene4work: Learning to learn for new digital soft skills for employability. • 2014-15 – European Project: Erasmus+ Knowledge Alliances. European Ict Sector Skills Alliance - Vet Open Course For Mobile Apps Creators Role: Researcher – Responsible of some research tasks. • 2009-12 – European Project – EU Lifelong Learning Programme. MODES (Modernising Higher Education through Soft Skills Accreditation). Role: Researcher; Coordinator of WP 3. Fhe objective of the project was to integrate a common European programme on soft skills in the academic curricula and in the post-diploma supplement. • 2010-12 - PRIN. Successo formativo, inclusione e coesione sociale: strategie innovative, ICT e modelli valutativi – Role: Scientific Advisor for the University of Palermo. • 2007-08 - PRIN.
