Background
About Maria Dimarzo
I am a College of Saint Rose graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I am currently working towards my Master's of Science in School Counseling at the Sage Graduate Schools in Troy, New York. I am very involved in the education and mental health field. I am currently employed as a substitute teacher for the Shenendehowa School District. I strive to be well-rounded when working with children of different ages so I work per-diem at Childtime Daycare. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering as a crisis counselor for the Crisis Text Line. I love helping children of all ages expand their academic, social and emotional skills. I believe children are our future and it is important they are taught skills early on that they can carry with them for the rest of their lives. I am looking forward to graduating in December 2019 and finding employment as a School Counselor.
