About Maria Glowaski

I am board certified veterinary anesthesiologist (Diplomate ACVAA). I provide the highest-quality and most compassionate and fear-free care to my animal patients and strive to instill confidence in their owners when I personally consult with them. I completed my residency in anesthesiology at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine following an internship in Anesthesiology/Critical Care and Emergency Medicine at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. I have a strong background in emergency and clinical care medicine which has been essential to the exceptional quality of care that I provide before, during and in the post-operative period. Additionally, I have a great passion for education and have taught at the classroom, national and international level and have mentored numerous veterinary students, residents, interns and practitioners on every aspect of veterinary anesthesia. I am and always have been committed to advancing the field of veterinary anesthesiology and particularly pain control with the ultimate goal of improving the safety and outcomes of animal patients. Working amongst a team of veterinary specialists is my forte. I sincerely believe that working towards a goal together is the pinnacle and key to a healthy and successful veterinary practice for both patients, clients and team members. My work style is ‘servant-leader’ where I strive to empower each and every person I work with to become their best work-self. I have and always will strive to lead my team with empathy in order to foster their excellence. I also feel that it is imperative to educate, encourage and empower to make all support staff feel included so that we can best serve our patients and clients together as one cohesive entity.
