About Maria Hunter

I am self-motivated, self-starterer and progress-driven in working to better client’s experiences. The elements of mental health and substance use disorder - both having an incomparable place in my heart and I feel indebted to devote my time and efforts into supporting the field. I found my purpose in helping empower people to heal, encourage, guide and grow with both staff and clients. I am well rounded in family interactions, dual diagnosis, male and female care, aftercare planning and supporting staff. I also exercised effective communication, patient care, attending engagements, referrals, documentation, interventions, client relations and organization skills. I also am proficient in collaborative work and putting forth effort to achieve common goals set.
