I have been in the travel marketing industry for over 24years and during this time I have always taken a pro-active approach, devising marketing strategies that help clients raise brand awareness, drive sales and achieve maximum ROI. In my current role as Managing Director at Accord Marketing, I am in the enviable position of working with a wide range of cruise lines, tourist boards, tour operators and online travel companies. From start-ups to challenger brands and market leaders, my approach is always the same: collaborative, innovative and open. I see it as my responsibility that we create campaigns - unique to each client - that will deliver the best results. As an individual who loves travel, thrives on new challenges and is eager to continually learn, my career to date has served me well. Responsible for managing a team of talented, focused, enthusiastic and dedicated professionals, it helps enormously that I have done their job, faced similar challenges and worked with emerging technologies and trends. This year will see clients demand greater transparency, brand growth and different business models. So, my biggest ambition right now is to work closely with my team, equipping them to think flexibly, learn fast, respond swiftly and operate at the very heart of our clients’ businesses. This will require well-established and trustworthy relationships, with clients regarding my team (and me) as a true extension of their internal marketing teams.
