About Maria Raff

After my tenure with the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, I wasn’t quite ready to pursue retirement. However, I was eager to give back in a meaningful and impactful way. I recently joined a dedicated, talented team with the County of Napa, Health and Human Services Agency, Public Health Division, Emergency Preparedness program. It’s so wonderful to serve my community in a position where I’m applying more than three decades of public service, grants administration, program management, stakeholder engagement, and other experience to deliver vital services to my neighbors. As an analyst my work is focused on grants management, financial management, project coordination, technical writing, and stakeholder engagement. I’m surrounded by dedicated public servants who are so bright, intelligent, experienced, dedicated, and laser focused on preparing our community. I joined the County of Napa after 35 years in public administration and the community development finance field. I spent more than nine years with the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco leading the Business Solutions + Strategies Division, including End User Services, Culinary, Logistics + Print, Data + Information Governance, and Meeting + Event Solutions. I had a long tenure with the County of Alameda funding affordable housing and community facility development projects; and with the City of Alameda overseeing the Fire Department’s Administrative Services Division. I also spent more than six years with the Low-Income Investment Fund leading state policy efforts and providing training and capital for the development of community facilities throughout California. I have a bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies from San Francisco State University, completed a UC Davis extension program in Land Use and Natural Resources, and a graduate of the University of Washington’s Pacific Coast Banking School and Foster School of Business Executive Leadership Program.
