About Maria Schilt
Since 2012 my life and work came into a partnership with Ad van Hassel, founder and head teacher of Amsterdam Yoga Centre. I now hold the position of Director of the Amsterdam Yoga Centre. We share our vision that yoga is a science, method and art, that can heal mind and body, relationships and communities. In Amsterdam Yoga Centre we share the vison of One Yoga, the yoga you practice adjusted tot your needs, lifestyle and capabilities. We see yoga as the cultivation of attention, energy and focus, on all the human levels, in order to provide individuals the strength to live their life purpose and to be happy and healthy and cary their light in to the world. Next to my personal practice, study and exploration in Ayurveda/Yoga/Tantra I share my insights in Family and System Constellation, Trauma-release-sessions and Yoga-therapy sessions, combining methods for the body, the breath, mindfulness and systemic and therapeutic interventions like EMDR.
