About Mariah Hallbilsback

I am passionate about the mental health field, with a focus on therapeutic work with adolescents and young adults. I’ve worked since 2019 as a psychotherapist in a school-based mental health clinic and a community mental health clinic. I recently obtained my clinical licensure in social work (LCSW), and see clients in private practice as well. I earned my Master's in Social Work, with a clinical focus, from the Hunter College. While there I interned as a therapist at a children’s mental health clinic and as a care coordinator associated with the New York health homes system. I previously attended the New School and worked as a research assistant in Dr. Lisa Rubin's Gender and Health Lab, and as a co-editor of the New School Psychology Bulletin. Before that I worked as an assistant clinician at Community Resources for Justice/Community Strategies for two years. I am a goal-oriented, motivated person, and am skilled in SPSS, G*Power, Qualtrics, Cerner, and Microsoft Office.
