About Mariah Nelles

Graduating from Northcentral Technical College provided knowledge in all aspects of nursing. The culturally competent education I have obtained has allowed for diverse patient care and relationships. My goal-driven personality that I have continuously developed and cultivated has allowed me to excel in my academia leading me to become knowledgeable in nursing communication and skills. Working as a “Flex RN” at HSHS Green Bay, has allowed me to integrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills when working with patients in a fast-paced work environment. This current position of mine allows me to serve patients at four hospitals: St. Mary, St. Nicholas, St. Vincent, and St. Clare where I work on several medical units including oncology, surgical, intermediate care, intensive care, and rehabilitation. My developed teamwork and dependability characteristics has allowed for effective collaboration with healthcare providers, patients, and families. I am currently growing this knowledge with my part-time student status at UW Green Bay where I am obtaining my bachelor’s degree of nursing. I believe that my aforementioned experience working with healthcare professionals, my outstanding communication skills, my passion for helping and caring for patients, my strong team player abilities, and my eagerness to learn continue to make me a good addition to future career opportunities.
