About Mariah Stone

I am a creative marketer with a passion for sustainable food systems and a background in agroecology. I have a BA in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture from Montana State University-Bozeman, where I learned about the ecological, social, and economic aspects of food production and consumption. Currently, I work as a Marketing and Events Assistant at High Desert Food & Farm Alliance (HDFFA), a nonprofit organization that supports local farmers and food producers in Central Oregon. I am responsible for creating and executing marketing campaigns, managing social media platforms, designing promotional materials, and coordinating events that showcase the local food community and culture. In my role, I use my skills in branding, storytelling, and visual identity to build and evolve HDFFA's brand, captivate audiences, and foster brand loyalty. I thrive in collaborative environments, where I can work with cross-functional teams and lead by example. My goal is to promote HDFFA's mission and vision of a thriving and resilient food system that benefits both people and the planet.
