About Mariah Wallace

My name is Mariah Rene Wallace and grew up and currently live in San Rafael, Ca. I have been working in the legal field since I was 13 years old. One of my first jobs was interning at the Public Defender's Office in San Rafael, Ca for the summer. In that position I realized I wanted to pursue a professional career in the law. I have always had a passion for working in the legal realm. I have worked in many different areas of the law including: Criminal, family, corporate, and immigration law. In my personal and professional skills i have gained many experiences over many different industries- Retail/customer service, inventory control - Custom frame design, clothes print design - Grant Writing - Stage Manager Assistant for theater productions - Facilitate class size discussion on topic of health around mental, sexual, behavioral health - Supported ‘Alcohol and other Drug’ committee task force - Facilitated programs for incoming college students through the Education Opportunity program - Facilitated workshops and advocated for immigrant family groups For the last few years, I worked as a Sr. Business Immigration Analyst for Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen, & Loewy LLP which meant I worked directly with council to support clients obtaining their green cards. I specifically supported clients with employment based green cards and family based green cards pathways. Throughout my employment with Fragomen I worked with hundreds of clients but there is still nothing like the personal interaction. This level of support above all taught me that any job has communication and customer service at the forefront of their company's goals. I loved my role as a Sr. Business Immigration Analyst. I am looking to expand my personal knowledge and professional abilities. Recently, I completed the Google Project Management Career Certificate - a Rigorous, hands-on program that covers traditional and Agile project management approaches throughout the life cycle of a project. The program has taught me to be solutions-driven with experience in solving complex problems, working with cross-functional teams, and building project plans in Asana and Microsoft Office.
