About Mariah Winter

I am a community-centered implementation support specialist who believes meaningful, lasting change happens at the systems level; when partners align their efforts to improve outcomes for those in their community In my role as a Research Project Coordinator at the University of Kansas Center for Public Partnerships & Research, I partner with local leaders to implement IRIS (Integrated Referral and Intake System). Together, we co-design a referral system that make it easier for families to connect with the services they need; closing gaps and strengthening the networks that support them. I focus on facilitation that brings diverse voices to the table, guiding multi-sector teams through complex systems change, and applying implementation science to move shared vision into practical action. As both a practitioner and a parent, I’m deeply committed to equity and to amplifying community voice; because every child and family deserves a system that supports them.
