Background
About Marialyce Pedersen
I am a sustainable materials management professional with deep experience in zero waste. I am also an author, journalist and educator. My strengths include policy and program development in waste prevention, reuse, recycling and composting, and supporting claims with reputable third-party environmental certification programs. I have been successful in establishing and implementing environmental policies, standards and business guidance at a Fortune 100 company, building a reputation as a well-rounded, collaborative and successful environmental leader. I am pursuing a future role in advancing circularity, solutions to reducing single-use plastics pollution in developing countries and/or food waste prevention and recovery. I also welcome teaching opportunities where I can share my decades of knowledge - and keep up with emerging trends from smart students!
