About Mariam Bagher

Doctor of experimental medical science within the therapeutic areas of respiratory diseases with a focus on airway inflammation and remodelling. Doctoral thesis title:"Mast cell and its crosstalk with mesenchymal cell in chronic lung diseases". I am positive, fearless, competent and enjoy working in a high-energy and focused team. Being creative with an optimistic approach and a willingness to find solutions to various problems are some examples of my personal qualities. I enjoy reading and interpreting science terms with the purpose of communicating it to patients, the public, clinicians, management and experts. During the years working as a PhD-student/researcher I have received various experiences in research within the topics of cell biology and pharmacology. Other valuable experiences that I obtained are project-leading, method development, teaching, different communication techniques. Besides all of this, I realised I have good negotiation skills as well, I used these skills often when I ordering different reagents and kits needed in my experiments.
