SUMMARY Dedicated and experienced Data Scientist and Professor of Computer Science with extensive teaching and working experience in applied research. Holder of Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and publisher of numerous top-tier international conference and journal research papers. As data scientist, I strive to bridge data science theories with real world problem through applied research. Worked previously as postdoctoral research fellow in geo-temporal data mining and retrieval and as applied research consultant in Health Analytics. Supervised health analytics projects around electronic medical record systems as well as nearby service recommendation using pattern mining. Adept in creating powerful curriculum in the fields of data science, business analytics and digital media. Knowledgeable and experienced in various teaching strategies including hybrid and online teaching, which best promote the overall student learning along with enabling a differentiated learning. Facilitated faculty training courses within Teaching and learning center at Seneca College including “Foundations of Teaching and learning” and “Teaching hybrid and online”. A committed faculty member, who is passionate about fostering academic development and developing enhanced and/or new curricula as well as enhancing the educational offerings of an institution.
