About Mariam Khan

I am a Senior Business Systems Analyst working in capital markets technology in Toronto. My primary skill is business analysis, and I work closely with developers to build features for our business’s stakeholders. Having an electrical and software engineering background, I am pretty comfortable reading code to extract requirements whenever needed. After growing up in countries in the Middle East like Oman and Saudi Arabia, my passion for learning led me to move to Canada to study at one of the top universities. Living in new cities, building connections and learning new cultures has taught me fast adaptability. I enjoy volunteering, and I have been a part of various committees during university and the companies I worked for and I continue to do so in non-profit organizations. This has enhanced my communication and leadership skills and taught me to lead projects while being a team player. I am an avid learner. If I do not know something, I can learn it.
