I’ve spent the last few years in places where life’s decisions get real — behind pharmacy counters, at loan desks and now in the legal space. These days, I’m a legal assistant at Urban Family Lawyers, primarily supporting conveyancing and wills matters. It’s grounded, people-focused work, giving me the practical legal foundation I was looking for — real clients, real systems, real stakes. Before this, I was in mortgage broking and compliance, helping clients navigate risk and financial uncertainty. I also managed pharmacies, leading teams, solving problems under pressure and learning how trust is built (or lost) in seconds. Working in healthcare, finance, and now law has opened my eyes to the importance of focusing on what truly works in real life, not just on paper. I have a strong passion for systems that genuinely benefit people, and I think long-term about how processes, language and structures evolve. Currently, I’m focused on gaining a deep understanding of my role, while also paying attention to forthcoming developments. I'm particularly curious about how law will intersect with tech, decentralised systems and the frameworks we haven't built yet.
