About Mariana Dalblon

I am a cum laude graduate of the Master’s in Law and Technology at Tilburg University, a top 18 globally ranked law school. I specialized in Data Protection, Intellectual Property, and the legal challenges of emerging technologies, including Economic Data Law, Healthcare Governance and Regulation, AI Governance and Technology, and Fintech Governance and Regulation. With over six years of experience in law firms, multinational corporations, and scaleups, I have developed deep expertise in Data Protection, Intellectual Property, AI Governance, and Contract Law. I have worked on data protection compliance, including the GDPR and Brazil’s LGPD, conducting risk assessments, implementing data protection programs, and delivering privacy trainings in technology-driven environments. Beyond legal practice, I am actively engaged in nonprofit initiatives at the intersection of law and technology. I contributed to Bridge AI, helping shape ethical AI guidelines in Portugal, co-founded TodasTech to empower women in tech, and served on the Legal Hackers executive committee (2017–2021), co-organizing events and meetups to bridge the gap between law and technology in South Brazil.
