About Mariana Lim

A professional with extensive network and +15 years experience in coal industry: half of it spent in establishing an Indonesian trading unit (for Peabody Energy) from scratch until it functioned effectively with proper SOP, generated positive margin, then integrating Asian offices to reach operations efficieny. The other half is trading coal, supervising each trade to be completed without issue, and, if there is, then resolving the issue, and expanding business opportunity to other commodities. My greatest expertise are integrity, problem solving, managing people, and negotiation. Other expertise: coal trading (buy and sell), coal sourcing, contract negotiation, logistics & operations, coal-shipping management, new trade office set-up, administrative and LC support, team building and recruitment, leadership, public speaking, english interpreter, personal finance, learning whatever is needed to understand things and improve the system (be it workflow, due diligence process, team work, trade and cost optimization etc).
