About Marie Athaide

With over 7 years of work experience, I am a passionate, versatile leader experienced in coaching teams and managing projects across consulting and secondary education. After six (6) years of consulting and implementing Workday for 15+ clients and a global pandemic, I followed a passion to help high schoolers reach their potential as an academic advisor, college counselor, and campus minister. No matter the role, I am focused on actively listening to my clients while advising and strategizing to each based on their own objectives.I am currently the Director of College Counseling and Academic Advising at Holy Spirit Preparatory School, a private Catholic classical PreK-12 school in Atlanta, Georgia. My mission is to help students and their families navigate the complex and competitive college admissions process, and to foster their academic, spiritual, and personal growth. I enjoy working with a diverse and talented team of educators, administrators, and stakeholders, and bringing my system optimization and implementation expertise in various industries to enhance the school's operations and outcomes.During my time as a Workday Manager, I was known as a personable, action-oriented, quick learner and leader. I am focused on fostering relationships while executing results for my clients, constantly thinking about the bigger picture and how to put the pieces together.
