About Marie Bartlett

If you had asked me when I was younger what I wanted to be when I grow up, you would’ve gotten an answer of either an astronaut, a marine biologist, or a FBI Agent. None of which fall into the category of creative. It wasn’t until half way through college that I had an interest in wanting to work in post-production for movies or television. I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication, specializing in video production. This started me on my journey to discovering not only my love for editing video, but for photos, as well. Currently, I am looking for a creative position that matches my passion for photo and video editing. Most recently, I was responsible for the photography services offered in my department at the University of Central Florida. I have taken over 800 headshots for faculty and staff and used Adobe’s Photoshop and Lightroom to edit over 1,500 photos. I, also, assisted with creating and/or editing videos for our office to help support faculty and staff with their courses and multimedia projects. I am excited to continue to learn and grow in the areas of photography and editing of photos and video. I am also interested in diving deeper into the world of graphic design.
