As a senior software engineer at ThoughtWorks, I develop and maintain innovative web applications that solve complex problems for clients in various domains. I use technologies such as TypeScript, Kotlin, stencils.js, CSS, React, SpringBoot, and AWS to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions. I am also passionate about mentoring and coaching other developers, sharing my knowledge and skills through https://mentors.to/mariededikova and writing articles and blogs on Medium. I have helped several aspiring, senior developers and tech leads grow and boost their confidence in software development, testing, clean code, and more. Contact me if you need coaching or mentoring - if you are a right fit, I will help you immensely. In addition to my technical skills, I have a master's degree in German language and literature from Masaryk University in Brno, and have studied at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg as an exchange student. I speak Czech, German, and English fluently and some Spanish and Polish, and have applied my linguistic and cultural knowledge to create user-friendly and accessible web applications for the mobility and automotive sectors.I believe in staying curious and learning new technologies, innovations, and about people. I am always eager to explore new challenges, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and improve the code quality beyond impossible. I also believe that technologies should serve people and make their life easier, not the other way around.
