About Marie Schwindler

As a registered nurse that has worked in healthcare since 2009, I am committed to providing compassionate patient centered care. My healthcare experience ranges from EMT-B, ER technician, and now RN. I currently work as a RN at a rural community health center which offers primary and urgent care to the residents of West Marin. As a Clinical Care Nurse at Coastal Health Alliance, job duties include: • Provides case management, medication management, and health education for all ages (newborn to geriatric) • Manages minor and complex wounds • Triages walk ins and RN advice calls; arranges appropriate medical follow up care • Administer first aid and emergency care • Chronic Care Management (including but not limited to: Diabetes, Hypertension, Heart Failure, COPD, Asthma, etc) • Assists in oversight of vaccinations and TB clearance for pediatric and adult populations • Delivers patient centered care while effectively collaborating with in a diverse medical team • Appropriately prioritizes and manages RN case load while working in a fast-paced rural health care setting • As Lead RN, assists in the development and training of procedures and protocols for best practices according to company policy • As Lead RN, assists with scheduling, performance evaluations, hiring, and onboarding of new RNs • As Lead RN, promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
