About Mariel Ferry

My name is Mariel Ferry. As someone whose dream is to work in casting, scouting, or talent management, I graduated from Temple University in May 2020, with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies and Production. I have a lot of experience working in different agencies and fast-paced environments, learning as well as refining skills such as interpersonal and leadership skills, and time management. I have experience in the casting field, an eye for talent, and an awareness and passion for changing trends and ever-evolving pop culture. Being bilingual in English and Spanish, I have reached out to and worked with both the American and Hispanic communities as well as many more diverse actors who work in film and television, guiding them along their journey in the acting space while answering questions they may have along the way. If anyone thinks they have what it takes to be a star they should have the room to do so. I am trained in multiple software platforms such as Casting Networks, Breakdown Express, and InEntertainment, just to name a few. I also know how to onboard clientele including minors and thoroughly read and dissect SAG-AFTRA Contracts. Also if the opportunity were to arise, I also know how to post, schedule, review and send script materials and run acting auditions both in person as well as virtual, while reading with actors to see if they fit certain roles. Also, I have work experience abroad which has fed my love and ambition for travel and experiencing different cultures. I am reliable, adaptable, driven, and willing to relocate anywhere anyone would have me. Thank you!
