About Mariela Rutherford

Mariela has over 12 years of experience in different areas within the Oil industry, she worked as an account manager dealing with clients in Europe, Africa and Middle East. She has experience in providing technical support for several Oil companies with a focus in an excellent customer satisfaction. She has significant experience in helping Geoscientist in the Oil business to navigate through different software. Mariela has had the opportunity to make several presentations face to face with clients in the Oil industry. Also she was been teaching technical courses (geophysics, seismic well tie, geology, etc) and has been involved in the whole software sales process for Geoscientists and Engineers to find Oil. Born in Venezuela, trained in USA and now living in the UK, Mariela holds a degree in Geophysics and Petroleum Engineering from Simon Bolivar University and Texas A&M University. Mariela has experience in helping clients from small service companies to big Oil companies. Also she has been involved in conferences around the world promoting technology and software for Oil exploration. Her sympathy, positivism and right attitude willing to help has been appreciated with everybody who has been dealing/working with Mariela during her career.
