About Mariem Diaz

Detail-oriented and motivated Data Analyst with a strong foundation in data analysis, visualization, and statistical modeling. I recently completed a Data Analytics Bootcamp at the University of California, Berkeley, where I gained hands-on experience in data cleaning, exploratory analysis, and dashboard creation using Python, SQL, and Tableau. With years of experience in hospitality, I’ve developed a deep understanding of sales trends, guest behavior, and marketing performance. I’m passionate about turning data into clear, actionable insights that help drive revenue, optimize campaigns, and improve customer engagement. My background in Political Science, Theatre, and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting adds a unique perspective: combining analytical thinking with storytelling and creative problem-solving. I thrive in collaborative environments, manage multiple priorities with ease, and translate complex findings into strategies that resonate across teams. Now, I’m eager to bring data-driven solutions to support business growth in sales and marketing, especially in customer-focused industries like hospitality.
