My main focus has been democratic and human rights issues in relation to islamic principles, specifically those of women. I have studied the complex tradition of interpreting Islam, and the disagreements stemming from different interpretations, resulting in the conflicts prevalent in the Middle East today. Since 2019 I have been taking part of a Supplementary Programme in Education: Upper Secondary School. My main subjects are Religion and Philosophy. At the same time I am completing an education in Swedish as a second language.
