About Marija Ban

Experienced and impact-driven professional with over nine years of cross-sectoral expertise, beginning in fund administration and private equity in Luxembourg and currently working in EU energy and climate policy. I spent over four years as an Associate in Luxembourg’s financial sector, specializing in fund administration, private equity and UCITS structures reporting and audits, within dynamic, English-speaking international teams. Since transitioning into energy and economic consulting, I have advanced to the role of Senior Consultant at the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar, where I lead strategic projects on energy transition, energy poverty, industrial decarbonisation, and clean mobility. My work supports key institutions including the European Commission, EIB, World Bank, and Energy Community Secretariat, with a focus on Southeast Europe and the EU neighbourhood. I bring demonstrated strengths in EU tenders, multidisciplinary team coordination, and navigating complex regulatory frameworks across both finance and public policy domains.
