About Marija Pushko

I am happiest making use of the laboratory skills I have obtained, learning new laboratory skills and technology, and cycling through laboratory, greenhouse, fieldwork, and deskwork. I work well with others, as partner or leader, have trained new employees, and have experience teaching college-level students. I've worked with viruses, bacteria, algae, diploid and polyploid plants, and fish. I like to work on and collaborate on multiple projects, and I enjoy passing my knowledge onto others. My strengths lie in physical work, as opposed to full-time data analysis, and my goal is to obtain a position that will keep me busy with lots of hands-on projects in biological studies. Plant biology is my main interest, but I enjoy broadening my experiences into other areas.
