About Marijn Damstra

I focus on growing Unit4 profitably and sustainably, defining & executing the PE-backed value creation plans with both Advent International and TA Associates. Previously I worked at the joint PwC/Booz strategy consulting practice - and held global roles at Royal Philips NV across marketing, product management and R&D. I advise executives on strategic issues, mostly concerning value creation (VCP), competitive strategy, revenue growth, M&A, DD and PMI. I worked with firms in software, FMCG, utilities, consumer electronics, banking, publishing, fintech, energy and food retail. Graduating cum laude for my MSc degree in electrical engineering, I also minored in psychology & sociology. While working at PwC, I obtained my executive MBA degree at the Rotterdam School of Management. Together with my project team, I won the Inspired in Teams award by PwC's Advisory Board. I also won scholarships by the University of Twente, Lucent and the Rotterdam School of Management.
