About Marikka Sand

I am a business professional, property manager and environmental engineer currently helping property management pros to be the best they can. My focus is on teaching leadership and communication, building simple tools and making information tangible. I have always been interested in how things - organisations, processes, people - work and interact. On my good days, I am a hard-working developer of new processes, products and concepts, on Mondays I am just a fast learner, a deep thinker and efficient routine handler. I love analysing and understanding phenomena and explaining them in plain English, Finnish and German. I am experienced in leading small teams and larger staff units, and I consider myself a good judge of character. I can handle daily and long-term budgeting, networking, training and communicating. I have no trouble handling different ICT systems; what I don't know, I will learn and later teach. You can get the most out of me if you are a modern, international organisation with a solid vision and an active plan to get or stay there. I am happy to say my current employer is someone who I can learn from and with, and who lets me play an active part in their own development.
