About Marilyn Erman

With over 14 years of experience as a freelance musician and a music therapist, I have developed a unique set of skills and competencies that enable me to create and deliver engaging and therapeutic recreational programs for various populations. As the Wellness Director at Villages of St. Peters, a skilled nursing facility, I was responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the activities and events that enhanced the physical, mental, and social well-being of the residents. I also incorporated my expertise in animal assisted therapy, which I gained from working as a Kennel Assistant at Duo Dogs, Inc, a service dog program. There, I cared for, groomed, and enriched the potential service dogs in advanced training, as well as trained the volunteers on how to interact with them. I am passionate about using music and animals as tools for healing, empowerment, and fulfillment, and I seek to join an organization that shares this vision and values.
