I entered the world of commercial real estate in 1986, after graduating from New York University, an editing career at Random House, and a short stint as a NYC English teacher. In 1992 I co-founded Butler Kane Commercial Real Estate and became a Managing Director and Advisor to the national real estate firm of Sperry Van Ness in 2007. I have been recognized for my achievements including being named as one of "New York's 100 Most Influential Women in Business" by Crain's New York Business and one of the top "100 Women Real Estate Leaders of the 21st Century" by Real Estate Weekly. I have served on the Board of Directors of the New York City chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), am a member of the Association of Real Estate Women (AREW) and Asian Women in Business. After my involvement in a landmark child support case, I founded the NYC Chapter of the Coalition for Family Justice, a child support advocacy group.
