About Marilyn MacArthur

I work in Human Services and actually love humans, as a general rule! I love to help and to encourage others to live their best lives. I have worked as a Mental Health Advocate, Special Education teacher, an Activities Director in Long-Term Care, and a Case Manager for individuals with Intellectual and Development Disabilities. All of these diverse fields center on assisting, coaching and supporting people with disabilities. I have a Master's degree in education and enjoy writing, encouraging others, and learning new skills. I would love to find more opportunities to support individuals with a condition, impairment or disability navigate employment and life-style concerns.'Diversibility' is an overlooked social justice issue that limits individuals and organizations. I also love biblical exegesis, inspiring people to use writing as prayer, and genuinely enjoy prayer and connecting with others around faith, theological beliefs and social justice concerns. I love Dr Who and the Lord, am a dog person who adores my Jerry, delight in musical comedies and Celtic rock, am fascinated by archeology and linguistics, enjoy watching British murder mysteries, like to play games, to make greeting cards. In other words, the world is a good place to be!
