About Marilyn MacLellan

With over 10 years of experience in technical program and project management, I have developed a passion for delivering high-quality solutions that enhance customer experience and satisfaction. I have a strong background in hardware, software, and physical infrastructure project management (lab management) which enables me to work effectively in any environment and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to complete projects on time. I am most recently a Technical Program Manager at Amazon Lab126, where I created and executed program roadmaps, facilitated software releases, drove defect reduction, and triaged customer feature requests for Alexa Device software organization and lab spaces. In this role, I leveraged my skills in Jira/Atlassian Suite, social networking, and laboratory management to coordinate and track the progress and completion of director level goals, oversee deliverables from international teams, and manage lab operations for square feet of labs. I have contributed to significant improvements in release commitment fulfillment (software development lifecycle), performance goals, customer experience metrics, and infrastructure reliability. I have also led cross-functional initiatives to increase operational capacity and to develop processes and procedures for lab installations. I enjoy working with innovative and talented people who share my vision of creating delightful and impactful products for millions of customers. I was part of the Amazon role reductions with my last day at the end of January 2024 so I am now exploring new opportunities and look forward to the next chapter.
