About Marina Borges

The best word to describe me? Butterflies. I love the feeling of excitement in my stomach and I actively seek it in every challenge I take on. After 9 years of operational experience in the hospitality industry, I felt it was time to evolve and follow a new path. With a degree in Branding, I transitioned into a new chapter in Human Resources and Employer Branding — a space where I could combine my passion for people, creativity, and strategic thinking. My background — leading teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, solving complex problems, and collaborating across departments — gave me a 360º view of how a hotel operates. Now, I’m putting that experience into action by developing talent retention strategies, reducing turnover in the hospitality, tourism, and F&B sectors, and shaping workplaces where people truly want to stay and grow. I’m also passionate about inclusion and am currently working on projects that aim to build more inclusive, equitable, and welcoming environments where everyone feels valued and empowered. I thrive in teamwork, embrace evolution, and love being dynamic, creative, and solution-oriented. If there’s something I don’t know yet — teach me.
