About Marina Riabets

I never thought that I would become a Front-End Developer, because where I am from traditional education doesn't educate with these modern professions. When I stumbled upon possibilities of markup, styling and scripting I instantly fell in love and still ecstatic about projects I develop on day to day basis. I got my basic education of Web Development in a privately held ITStep Computer Academy, after that continued my education online and still do not stop in any way. I envy those who studied Software Engineering in a university, as this topic is very broad and complicated to figure out in real time, but it is something that keeps me motivated to research and apply on small projects.Currently my specialty is HTML, CSS and JavaScript, where Vue.js is my framework of choice for single page applications. I extend my skills on basic PHP development in systems like WordPress or Laravel, but do not prefer it. Overall, for 5 years that I have been a developer, I was able to develop dozens of websites and web applications and many of them keep going strong to this day.
