About Marinko Pavic

I've been a technical writer, instructional designer, e-learning and website content developer, multimedia editor, and QA analyst for the past 24+ years. I’m now working with Pason Systems in Calgary, creating specialized knowledge base content for Drilling products, focusing on training and sales videos for software and hardware in the field. I’ve been an Instructional Designer, Technical Writer, and Product Enablement Specialist with Symend (helping deliver digital experiences that are hyper-personalized based on the science behind consumer behavior) I've worked for various clientele through my own consulting work and with both Parkland - Canada's largest independent fuel marketer and Vantage Path - a startup company that I was with since nearly their beginning - in the e-learning, digital content, and performance training field. I'm interested in IT, design, and making technical jargon easy while I continue to forge my leadership skills, with experience as president with the U of C Ballroom Dance Club and as a supervisor/manager at the Jubilee Auditorium, Arts Commons/Werklund Centre, and Alberta Theatre Projects to bring high performance to my teams and co-workers as I support the arts community in my city.
