As CEO of Century City Property Owners' Association, I lead the strategic vision and operational delivery of one of South Africa’s most successful mixed-use Smart City developments. Century City is more than a precinct; it’s a platform for innovation, investment, and inclusive urban growth. With over R30 billion invested to date and a growing residential, commercial, and tourism footprint, our focus is on shaping a resilient, future-ready city. A core belief drives my leadership: cities must be led with intention, striking a balance between performance, sustainability, and social value. I bring over 20 years of experience in urban governance, safety, and infrastructure management, now channelled into building an agile, investment attractive environment at Century City. Key leadership milestones include: Driving a long-term urban development strategy anchored in ESG principles and investor confidence. Overseeing the rollout of precinct-wide Smart Technology: from drone mapping and AI-assisted monitoring to integrated public transport planning. Strengthening partnerships across public and private sectors to unlock development opportunities in residential, office, and green infrastructure. I hold an MBA with a research focus on corporate governance in the context of smart cities, which underpins my approach to leadership, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory alignment.
