About Mario Bazile

At 14, I found my calling while working as a camp counselor in training at KIDCAM® Summer Camps. What began as a fun summer job grew into a passion for mentoring children and creating meaningful experiences. Over the years, I took on various roles—from kitchen staff to janitor, and even bus driver—gaining hands-on experience and a deep appreciation for the impact summer camps can have. Along this journey, I met my wife, Brandy, who shared my love for KIDCAM and became my lifelong partner in both life and purpose. Inspired by these summers, I pursued a career working with kids year-round, earning a master’s degree in education and spending time as a teacher. In 2003, I had the incredible opportunity to purchase KIDCAM, dedicating myself full-time to building unforgettable summers for children. Today, KIDCAM is the South’s leading summer camp experience, with a legacy of joy, learning, and adventure that spans generations. Our commitment to quality has earned us accreditation from the American Camp Association, reflecting our dedication to excellence in everything we do. Beyond KIDCAM, I find fulfillment in mentoring students through Kids Hope USA, spending time with Brandy and our three sons, and helping other business owners navigate challenges and opportunities. I believe my path has been guided by a greater purpose, and that every step of my journey has taken me where God wants me to be. My faith is the foundation of my work, inspiring me to serve others and make a positive impact every day.
