Als (Ere-)Voorzitter van de liberale vakbond ACLVB maakte ik deel uit van de Groep van 10 en tal van adviesorganen zoals de Nationale Arbeidsraad, de Centrale Raad voor het Bedrijfsleven en de raad van bestuur van U Gent. Thans oefen ik nog steeds een mandaat uit in de bestuursorganen van U Gent, het auditcomité van U Gent, de Economische Raad voor Oost-Vlaanderen, de Federale adviesraad voor ouderen en Ciriec Liège.
